News.
I just found a great website that offers scans of the front pages of 283 newspapers from 35 countries. It's called Newseum, and best of all its free! The only down side is that they don't have daily archives, but their FAQ says that they may in the future. They do have scans available from historical days such as 9/11, the Columbia shuttle explosion, and Ronald Reagan's death. And for some reason I just found it very strange that I had to give President Reagan ownership of his death with an apostrophe. Spooky.

They also have an amazing exhibit for D-day done in flash with high resolution scans.

A couple other cool news sites, if you like the whiz bang "oooh, ahhhh" effect, are Newsmap, and In The News. They are both very nicely done, with the latter being slightly more abstract, but if you are looking for something to use every day then they are probably lacking practicality.
